And yet the Mother Monster stepped out wearing a sequined bodysuit that's almost identical to the infamous look from Brit's "Toxic" video. Naturally the "Applause" singer opted for black, while the "Ooh La La" crooner's original look was nude, but that's about the only difference!
As children of the '90s, we're somewhat attached to the original sheer style. Brit was the queen of all things edgy at the time, and this look topped even her most risqué styles (aka the "Slave for You" suit). Plus, something about that black lingerie under Lady G's look is more scandalous than the nude alternative. Terrified as we are to insult the "Born This Way" singer, this take is borderline tacky.
