Seems just like old times.

Katy Perry caught up with pal Rihanna Monday night in downtown New York City at the pre-album release party for Perry's upcoming effort, Prism, just days after the album's lead single, "Roar," leaked online.

But there was nothing but smiles (and some fierce camera mugging) for the BFFs during their happy reunion.

In a snapshot that RiRi posted on Instagram, a beaming Perry cozies up to the Barbadian beauty, while Rihanna, lips pursed and eyes shut, strikes a playful pose.

"She. X She. #KatyAnna #RIHunited," the "Nobody's Business" songbird captioned the pic.

But the adorable Instagram shot was just the beginning of the BFFs' fun-filled night.

E! News has learned the "Fireworks" singer also took time out of promoting her new album to enjoy dinner with 15 friends—including beau John Mayer— at The Lion. Perry met with pals at the restaurant's bar downstairs before dining with her group in a private room.

According to an eyewitness, the "Gravity" crooner "never left" Katy's side, saying "he was sweet and affectionate at the bar, holding her close with his arm around her" (too cute!).

In the middle of dinner, Rihanna arrived, causing a stir outside with paparazzi. She joined the group and immediately sat next to Katy and John to catch up (and snap the precious pic of the pals!).

"Everyone had a great time with the mood being celebratory and happy," the onlooker adds.

The last time K.P. and RiRi were spotted together, they were hanging out at Rihanna's show in New York City back in May, where Perry tweeted: "Throw it [emoji pointing up] throw it [emoji pointing up] , that's how we [ball emoji] #immacomintogetyouRiRi."

Perry recently gushed to Elle U.K. about her friendship with Rihanna. "I love her and every time I see her, I'm reminded of the light that she has," John Mayer's gal-pal said. "There's a lot of dark in this business."

Still, Perry appeared to express her concern about the company that her friend keeps.

"I know a lot of people out there with the most detrimental entourages—they are the root of their demise," she said, declining to name-check anyone specifically. "It's really unfortunate but you can't save these people. My days of celebrity saving are over."
