Apparently, Shaun White's talents go beyond the slopes and ramps.

The two-time Olympic gold medalist has proven that he has some musical skill after his band Bad Things released their first single "Anybody," off their self-titled debut album (in stores Oct. 8).

"We just couldn't wait any longer so we're leaking our new single," the band tweeted.

"I won a guitar at a snowboard contest at X Games," White told Billboard when explaining how he started playing music. "I got hooked on it—I'm kinda that guy who likes to practice."

He added, "I'd actually never played shows before—that's why this experience has been fun," but noted that any future touring will have to wait until after the Winter Olympics in 2014.

The Los Angeles rock band consists of frontman and lead singer Davis LeDuke, bass player Jared Palomar, guitarist Anthony Sanudo, drummer Lena Zawaideh and White as the lead guitarist.

Bad Things has already kicked off to a great start, playing a surprise set at Lollapalooza Saturday afternoon with festival-founder, Perry Farrell. Then taking the Death Grips headlining spot on The Grove Stage later that evening.

On Sunday, they performed in Montreal at Osheaga Festival and have a couple more Midwestern dates before their current tour of the US comes to a close.

Take a listen to "Anybody" and tell us what you think!
