The actress made a stunning appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live in a sexy black-and-beige Michael Kors dress that featured a scoop neckline and a thigh-high slit, paired with Christian Louboutin pointed-toe pumps. Even with minimal makeup and jewelry, the golden-locked gal looked radiant with her natural wavy tresses.
The 27-year-old beauty showed that she was more than just looks in the interview, with her engaging personality and light-hearted sense of humor in full gear.
When asked by Jimmy Kimmel if her "real parents" were present at the taping, she responded, "Well, I rent them," adding that she barely recognized her father in the audience without his cowboy hat.
The Texas native even told a humorous story about her parents' reaction to her desire to pursuing an acting career in California.
"Like any reasonable people, they were frightened and angry," she jokingly explained. "My dad actually tried to give me a gun as I was entering the airport. He missed the memo about 'Don't bring your guns [to California].'"
The starlet is the latest leading lady in Johnny Depp's life, but she insists on keeping her personal life private. The two met while filming The Rum Diary in 2010, in which they played love interests onscreen.
"It's not part of my professional life, "she said in an interview with Flare magazine, adding "I want to be an artist. I don't want to be a celebrity."
Heard had been dating photographer Tasya van Ree for several years, but after a few nights out together (and a horse!), E! News confirmed that the fellow actors were an official item.
We love the two as a couple, but it's great that Heard can also do her own thing.
