InstagramJohn Stamos is a man on a mission.
The former Full House actor is set on fulfilling 17-year-old Kaitlyn Dobrow's wishes of spending the day at Disneyland.
The brave teenager faced an earlier bout with a deadly bacterial infection, which forced doctors to amputate her limbs in an effort to save her life.
Stamos took to Instagram to give a little background on the situation, saying, "I'm ONLY doing this cause they asked. I said no press. But this story is a must read—plus me and Katie have a date to Disneyland."
The actor was seen posing with his arms around Katie, who is currently recovering in a California hospital.
He posted another photo of himself with the youngster and her best friend Kristen Kidd and captioned it, "We're planning our trip to Disneyland!!!"
While both ladies looked happier than ever to be by the actor's side, Kristen tweeted a special thank you for John via Twitter.
"Thank you @JohnStamos for making the time to come and visit my best friends, @kaitlynndobrow. You made our day! Can't wait to see you again!"
After being admitted into a hospital in February, Katie's family has been faced with overwhelming medical bills due to her many surgeries.
Kathi Dobrow, Katie's mother, spoke about her daughter's journey and the hardships her family now face.
A fundraising site has now helped to raise over $77,000 to help her family with the costs of rehab and a possible new car that would be better suited for her after all of the health complications as of late.
"Kaitlyn has had an amazingly positive and courageous attitude throughout this illness and is determined to have a happy, fulfilling life, believing that God has an awesome plan for her future. She is my hero," her mother said.
A Facebook page called "Caring for Katie" has been set up by her family and friends.
