The human body is a beautiful, blank canvas.

It changes form when covered by different outfits and accessories, but when the frivolities are stripped away, it can be a raw platform for creative expression. Right, Lady Gaga?

The 27-year-old pop star recently bared it all in the name of art, showing off her completely uncensored figure in a video for a Kickstarter campaign to fund the Marina Abramovic Institute, an organization dedicated to preserving creative works.

But Mother Monster is far from the first celeb to show some skin. Check out these stars who've worn only their birthday suits in the name of their craft!

Lindsay Lohan: We've seen her boobs on more than one occasion, but she gave fans a full frontal view in The Canyons. Lindsay stars opposite porn star James Deen in the flick, and the duo have several sex scenes together—including acting out the making of a sex tape.

Amanda Seyfried: For her role in Lovelace, this actress was required to do her fair share of sex scenes. But the nakedness didn't phase her one bit. "It's fine," she told E! News. "You don't think too much about it. It's a costume really. It's just a naked body. I mean, in America it's something, but most other places in the world, it's just a naked body. We all look the same."

CoCo: Ice-T is one lucky fella! This buxom blonde isn't shy about showcasing her famous curves. In one WhoSay picture, the model shows off what she calls her "'Titty Tuesday' Superhero look." Hot.

Miley Cyrus: The Queen of Twerk usually flaunts her figure in crop tops and booty shots, but she showed off everything in the name of skin cancer prevention. A completely naked Miley is on a series of Marc Jacobs' "Protect the Skin You're In" T-shirts. All proceeds from the sale of the shirt go towards the New York University Skin Cancer Institute.

Jason Segel: Let's hear it for the boy! We saw full-frontal Jason Knocked Up and Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Then, most likely due to popular demand, we got another R-rated eyeful of the actor in The Five-Year Engagement.

Beyoncé: Jay Z's love taught us the meaning of bootylicious, so it only makes sense she knows how to work her killer curves! In July 2013, Beyoncé graced the cover of Flaunt magazine  wearing nothing but gold glitter. No one's ever gonna dull Queen Bey's sparkle!

Kate Winslet: The Academy Award winner has fully exposed those famous curves for many a film role, but who could forget that Titanic scene with Leonardo Dicaprio? You know, the "draw me like one of your French girls" clip—wearing only her Heart of the Ocean blue diamond. The painting went down with the ship, but we'll never let go of the mental image, Rose, we promise!
