Darren Criss is riding shotgun with the veep in a video on shotgun use.

Well, sorta: The Glee star, with the help of some nifty green-screen work, has "teamed up" with Vice President Joe Biden for a tongue-in-cheek PSA parody-cum-music video that tackles a slew of hot-button topics.

On the agenda? Yep, shotgun use, along with drone strikes, the Edward Snowden NSA leak…and the threat of "left-wing websites."

The biggest topic of discussion, however, is this: Who knew the veep could sing?!

The video, titled "Flying Robots," is the latest installment in the subversive "Songify the News" series, masterminded by the Gregory Brothers.

"Joe Biden and his press secretary, Darren Criss, educate the public on shotgun use while politicians and pundits broadcast warnings of flying robots and spies," reads the description for the video, which finds the Glee crooner strumming a guitar while sitting next to Biden as the auto-tuned politician shows off his vocal chops.

"Since I couldn't pencil @JoeBiden into my busy schedule, we captured our duet through a lil' movie magic," Criss wrote on Instagram, posting a photo of himself in front of a green screen.

"What the heck is goin on?...I give you Songify The News #3," he added, attaching a mock Star Wars poster for the song splashed with the title "Songify the News III: Attack of the Drones."

We're sold! Now, if only Criss can get his duet buddy Biden to guest-star on Glee
