We can't even begin to describe how frightfully excited we are for the third season of American Horror Story to premiere. But when you add in the fact that Coven will be exploring the dark magic of the world's most powerful witches, we practically cackle with glee.
Last week, E! Online revealed all the magical details surrounding Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson and Kathy Bates' "powerful" new characters, and now have your first look trailer for the thrilling new season. Hold on tight, because this will definitely lift your spirits...
The short yet spooky teaser pans past a decadent white room complete with a gorgeous chandelier and a teeny-tiny kitten hidden in the corner. However, just as you think the room is empty, we see eight presumed witches forced face-first into the walls. (Are you counting again? Check the fireplace! Eek!)
The trailer, intriguingly entitled, "Detention," leads us to believe that we could possibly be seeing some type of coven academy when the series returns this October. We now have so many questions brewing in our minds: Is this how young witches are punished? How long must they be suspended in their tortuous time-out? Is the almighty Fiona (Lange) the headmistress (or should we say head-witchress) in charge?
Looks like we'll have to wait until American Horror Story: Coven premieres in October to find out!
