Khloé Kardashian Odom's animal instincts are impelling her to do one thing: protect the world's endangered tigers.

The E! star has teamed up with World Wildlife Fund to boost funding for, and awareness of, the organization's global campaign to help save wild tigers.

The initiative, called the Prizeo campaign, comes on the heels of Global Tiger Day (that would be July 29, in case you were a wee bit behind on your tiger know-how) and hopes to halt the alarming decline of the world's wild-tiger population—reportedly, there are only 3,200 left in the wild.

In this exclusive video, Khloé talks about her love of tigers, as well as the fortuitous turn of events that led to her partnership with WWF.

"I have always been a lover of exotic cats—leopard, tigers, lions, you name it," the 29-year-old says. "And I never knew how almost to extinction tigers were in the wild. And as soon as I became aware of that information just a few years ago, I really became passionate about just having a voice and letting people know that we need to protect our wildlife."

That passion has translated into action.

As part of the campaign, Khloé is offering a special prize to a lucky donor: One grand-prize winner, along with a friend, will be flown to Los Angeles—accommodations included—and have the chance to go on a free shopping spree with Khloé at Dash worth $500.

As a plus, Khloé herself will act as the winner's personal wardrobe stylist for the day.

If her previous impromptu fund-raising effort is any indication—she once reportedly raised $15,000 in a week after tweeting out a WWF phone number to her followers—Khloé can count on some serious fan power.

"I am so thankful to all my fans for supporting me and for supporting the causes that I love and that are so dear to my heart," she says.
