Amy Poehler is looking to add TV host to her impressive resume!

The Parks and Recreation star and producer joined showrunner Mike Schur for an interview with Community star Jim Rash as part of Sundance Channel's super-awesome series The Writers' Room and she decided to pitch her own idea for a fly-on-the-wall style series.

We've got an exclusive sneak peek at The Writers' Room episode featuring the team at Parks and Recreation, in which Poehler gushes that receiving a script for the NBC sitcom is like "Christmas every week!"

In the beginning of our exclusive clip, Poehler pitches her hilarious idea for a show called The Green Room, which would feature her, or you know, anyone, interviewing actors. You know, it doesn't have to be her hosting, but she could do the first couple, she's just putting that out there! "We could just start with me and end the list," she says.

TV writing nerds are sure to love what comes next, which is Schur talking about certain people on the team writing for specific characters. And yes, we totally nerded out and watched the entire clip with heart-shaped eyes. Duh.

Shining a light on the creative minds behind your favorite shows like Breaking Bad, Dexter, American Horror Story, Game of Thrones, New Girl, and obviously Parks and Recreation, The Writers' Room, which is presented in part by Entertainment Weekly, takes viewers inside the writers' rooms of their favorite TV shows for in-depth round table interviews.

The Writers' Room airs Monday at 10 p.m. on Sundance.
