Get ready to dance, because Ellen DeGeneres is hosting the Oscars in 2014!

Producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron announced the big news Friday, and Ellen (who hosted the 2007 Academy Awards, too) is clearly looking forward to coming back.

"I am so excited to be hosting the Oscars for the second time. You know what they say—the third time's the charm," she said in a statement.

"We are thrilled to have Ellen DeGeneres host the Oscars," said Zadan and Meron in a statement. "As a longtime friend, we had always hoped to find a project for us to do together, and nothing could be more exciting than teaming up to do the Oscars. There are few stars today who have Ellen's gift for comedy, with her great warmth and humanity. She is beloved everywhere, and we expect that the audience at the Dolby Theater, and in homes around the globe, will be as excited by this news as we are."

Oh, we're all excited! And Ellen's already cracking jokes—at her own expense! "I's official: I'm hosting the #Oscars!" she tweeted. "I'd like to thank @TheAcademy, my wife Portia [de Rossi] and, oh dear, there goes the orchestra."

They'd never play you off, E!

That said, this year's Oscars will most likely be quite different from the 2013 Academy Awards. Host Seth MacFarlane's Family Guy-esque humor drew mixed reviews, and he's already confirmed he has no plans to emcee the show again.

Fair enough. We're just psyched to see Ellen hosting the Oscars 2014, which air Sunday, March 2, 2014, on ABC.
