There's another hot child in HBO's City.

Sex and the City star Cynthia Nixon gave birth to a baby boy Monday in New York City.

The 7-pound, 10-ounce infant, dubbed Charles Ezekiel Mozes, is the second child for Nixon and longtime boyfriend Danny Mozes, a Gotham-based English professor and photographer. The couple also have a six-year-old daughter named Samantha.

Charlie's b-day comes just over a month after the debut of James Wilke Broderick, the first child for fellow Sex star Sarah Jessica Parker and hubby Matthew Broderick. The nearly bursting Nixon was one of the first visitors to the Broderick brood in October.

Nixon and Mozes, both 36, have known each other since junior high and have been dating since their college days. Although they have been together for nearly 15 years, Nixon has repeatedly said they won't be getting married, because "I love him too much."

Per an HBO publicist, mom, dad, Samantha and baby Charlie are all doing just dandy.

Unlike Parker's pregnancy, which briefly forced a halt in production and trimmed the show's schedule from 13 episodes to eight, Nixon managed to time it so her stork visit wouldn't affect the Sex and the City shooting.

The second half of the Emmy-winning comedy's fifth--and perhaps final--season will resume production in February.
