Happy Birthday, Mick Jagger! You Just Turned 70!

He may not look his age, or act it, but the Rolling Stones singer is officially giving new meaning to the word septuagenarian

Mick Jagger can take quite a lot of satisfaction on his 70th birthday today.

Not only does the Rolling Stones frontman look fitter than ever, his band's still going strong and touring together after 50 years, and in the intervening time, he's gone from rock 'n' roll bad boy to rock royalty.

Not bad for an old geezer.

No, we can't get enough of good ol' Mick, not to mention his partner in crime since the two met at the age of 5, fellow Glimmer Twin Keith Richards, who won't be turning 70 until Dec. 18.

As a songwriting team, the English-born duo, of course, are responsible for some of the most indelible classic rock songs in history under their iconic lips logo—from "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" and "Jumpin' Jack Flash" and "Sympathy for the Devil" to "Brown Sugar," "Beast of Burden," "Emotional Rescue" and "Start Me Up" just to name a few.

But as a performer and lead singer of the World's Most Famous Rock and Roll Band, Jagger is unparalleled. His sinewy aerobicized dance moves and ability to seduce stadium-sized crowds are the stuff of legend, influencing generations of singers, including most notably Aerosmith's Steven Tyler.

There's even a pop hit dedicated to his stage prowess, "Moves Like Jagger," courtesy of Adam Levine and Maroon 5.

Of course, Jagger's not without critical accolades either, scoring a trio of Grammys with the Stones—a 1986 Lifetime Achievement Award, best rock album for 1994's Voodoo Lounge and best music video that same year for their hit "Love is Strong."

And let's not forget about the knighthood he received in 2003, allowing him to take the title Sir Mick Jagger. That's quite a turnaround for a guy who was one of the '60s leading counterculture icons (and who was once arrested for drugs back in 1967 but ended up receiving a conditional discharge).

Then there are the marriages to Bianca Jagger and Jerry Hall along with relationships with a host of fellow musicians and models: people like Marianne Faithfull, Carla Bruni, Sophie Dahl and Luciana Gimenez. All told, the rock god has seven children with four different women, plus four grandchildren!

And yet, Mick and the boys are still going strong, selling out arenas across the country on the Stones' 50th Anniversary Tour recently and playing a massive homecoming gig at the U.K.'s Glastonbury Festival, their first appearance there ever.

It's only rock and roll, but that's quite a life Jagger's got there. Lets hope he and his fellow Stones keep rolling fror a long time to come.
