Hmmm…we wonder who she's referring to!

Rihanna posted a cryptic message on her Instagram account earlier today, and it appears that it could be directed at her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown. But we'll let you decide…

The post showed a quote that read, "I hate when ex's say.."I'm here if you need me. Where the f-ck were you when we were together and I needed you."

While the "Stay" singer hasn't come at and actually directed the war of words at Brown (or any other exes), it's hard not to imagine who she might be talking about.

The singer also let her true feelings show when she broke down in tears during her Diamonds World Tour stop in France. RiRi thanked fans for their support and composed herself before singing her final song of the evening.

E! News confirmed back in April that the two singers had decided to part ways after reconciling for a few months.

In May, Brown opened up about the split in an interview 2Day's (yes, the Australian radio station that infamously prank-called Kate MiddletonThe Kyle and Jackie Show.

"I mean, at the end of the day, shawty doing her own thang, she on the road. It's always gonna be love," he said. "I'm a grown man, just gotta fast forward."

The singer made it clear that his love for RiRi hadn't gone anywhere, but at this point in their lives, it just wasn't practical, "I'm always gonna love that person. I can't be focused on wife-ing someone that young. I need to be the best Chris Brown I can be."

And there's plenty for the "Don't Wake Me Up" singer to focus on. Earlier today, the singer pleaded not guilty to hit-and-run charges and must surrender for booking purposes.

The misdemeanor stems from a May 21 incident in which Breezy was accused of hitting a California woman's car and allegedly refusing to give his driver's license number and then left the scene.

As a result, a Judge last week revoked Brown's felony probation from his 2009 assault of RiRi and set a probation violation hearing for Aug. 18.
