During a recent chat with MTV News, the "Heart Attack" singer was asked for her opinion on the short-haired beauty's new song "We Can't Stop," and the former child star—who has grown-up with Cyrus in the Hollywood biz—couldn't help but comment on her pal's affinity for partying.
"I think it's great. I think it's a good song," the former Disney star said of Miley's new music before adding. "She knows how I feel about the whole partying thing."

The scandalous "We Can't Stop" music video features Cyrus gyrating in skintight white spandex, twerking in a risqué bodysuit, french-kissing a life-size doll and going wild until the sun comes up.
Fans of the 20-year-old pop star have also witnessed the singer undergo an extreme style transformation, recently flaunting her edgy look and her fabulous figure in countless revealing ensembles.
"No one would have planned a haircut to change my life. I didn't plan a haircut to change my life. I just cut my hair and then it really changed my life," she told the Toronto Sun.
Despite their different lifestyles, Lovato insists she's got nothing but love for Mileybird.
"I love her to death," Lovato admitted of the former Hannah Montana star. "And I'm always like, ‘Just be careful.' And she's like, ‘Dude, I'm chilling. It's fine.'"
In recent months, the one-time squeaky-clean Cyrus has proudly dubbed herself a "party animal" while hinting at her alleged habit of smoking weed.
"I did a song with Snoop Dogg called 'Ashtrays and Heartbreaks,'" she told Rolling Stone magazine when asked if she smokes marijuana. "So people can put it together for themselves."
Still, Lovato insists Miley is on a solid path.
"I care for her so much [that] I'm so protective, but she's good," the "Made in the USA" singer said of Liam Hemsworth's other half. "She's got a good head on her shoulders."
She added: "It's a song that a lot of people have fun to. And if people are enjoying it, then great."
Demi herself is no stranger to struggle. She famously entered rehab at age 18 to deal with "emotional and physical issues" and has since spoken candidly about her sobriety.
"I surround myself with people that are beneficial in my recovery and my recovery is still a daily battle and I definitely hang out with people that support me in making the right decisions," Lovato has said of her life post-rehab. "I'm a happier and healthier person today because of the choices I've made."
