The royal baby is here! But just when might we get a glimpse of the little fella?

Well, that of course depends on when Kate Middleton and Prince William decide to depart from St. Mary's Hospital in London with their bundle of joy.

Fortunately, it is expected that the family-of-three will make their way out as early as today.

And when they do, Kensington Palace has stated that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their prince will leave by taxi, although the new dad is expected to make a statement beforehand.

As for the one-day-old's aunt and uncle, Pippa Middleton and Prince Harry, neither of them are expected to come to the hospital, according to Kensington Palace.

However, Kate's parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, did pay a visit on Tuesday to meet their new grandson.

Meanwhile, Prince Charles happily told reporters this morning that he was "thrilled and very excited" to be a grandfather.

Also spotted arriving at St. Mary's Lindo Wing was Kate's stylist, Amanda Cook Tucker. She was accompanied by an assistant who was seen carrying a baby car seat.

Hey, royal or not, a kid's still got to be safe, right?
