The bromance is over, Fannibals!

In case you aren't in the know, that's how fans of NBC's Hannibal refer to themselves , and, man, are they fans of Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) and Dr. Hannibal Lecter's (Mads Mikkelsen) friendship on the series. Too bad that friendship came to an end in the shocking season finale, when Will finally learned the truth about his culinarily inclined friend.

But trust us, creator Bryan Fuller is more-than-well-aware of the fact that fans just eat up the chemistry (pun fully intended) between his series' hero and villain. E! News' Will Marfuggi chatted with Fuller and Dancy at San Diego Comic-Con 2013, where they dished on season two and what's next for Will and Hannibal...including a kiss?!

Watch: "Hannibal" Season Two Teasers

"He's going to be much scrappier," Fuller teases of Will in season two now that he knows the truth, but has been institutionalized. "We've seen him hit rock bottom and now he's going to come up swinging."

Fortunately, Dancy assures us there's still a lot of storyline to be mined from the Will and Hannibal relationship. "I don't know that it has to go entirely. There's a connection of some sort and Hannibal is certainly not stopping being interested in Will. I think he's still just as interested as he was and clearly Will now has a powerful interest in Hannibal, albeit of a different type."

Of season two, Fuller adds, "It's about Will and Hannibal finding a new dynamic between them and those characters exploring the loss of the friendship. If the first season was the bromance, the second season is the nasty breakup!" But is there hope for a reconciliation...or maybe more?! Fuller tells us the No. 1 question he's asked by fans is, "Will Will and Hannibal ever kiss?"

Why don't you Fannibals just press play on the video above to find out Fuller's answer, OK?

(NBC and E! are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
