Adam Levine's fiancée Behati Prinsloo is spilling the details of her romantic proposal and showing off her stunning engagement ring to E! News. Understandably, the model couldn't hide her excitement about becoming the future Mrs. Levine.
The stunner explained that she was "very surprised" when Levine got down on one knee and that she's "very excited."
"It's a new chapter of my life," she said. "And I want to cry every time I talk about it!"
She added, "I'm so happy. We both are very happy."
Prinsloo gushed (and blushed!) when asked about her diamond sparkler.
"It's beautiful," she said as she looked down at her hand.
When asked if the Maroon 5 singer had called her father for approval, she giddily responded, "Yes, oh yes. It went down [the] old school way. It was full on."
Levine popped the question with a beautiful antique ring, which fits the model's eclectic personal style perfectly.
"It's from the ‘30s, it's vintage," she revealed. "It's a little big, that's why I'm wearing the little band."
The ring appears to have a solitaire diamond, with an ornate setting surrounding it. Truly a one-of-a-kind gem!
The two announced their engagement earlier this week after the proposal took place last weekend.
Levine began dating the 24-year-old model about a year ago, shortly after his split from fellow model and longtime girlfriend Anne Vyalitsyna. However, their romance experienced a slight bump on the road, and the couple parted ways several months ago before recently deciding to reconcile (for good).
The two were first spotted together in June 2012, showing off some serious PDA while vacationing in Hawaii. They were headed to Kauai for a friend's wedding and were seen holding hands and chatting up pals together during pre-ceremony festivities.
After their short-lived breakup, The Voice judge was linked to (yep, another model) Nina Agdal, who joined Levine on a trip to Cabo San Lucas last month.
But now, it appears his heart is set on Prinsloo for good.
