A parental nightmare for Jude Law over the weekend.

The Road to Perdition star and his actress wife, Sadie Frost, are breathing a bit easier today as their two-year-old daughter, Iris, has been deemed in fine health after swallowing an Ecstasy pill during a Saturday party.

The little girl was attending a children's party at a London club called the Soho House--an exclusive gathering spot for all kinds of events, including private celeb soirees, screenings and all-night raves--when she apparently found the pill on the floor. And, as is the wont of toddlers, she stuck it in her mouth.

Luckily, Frost was watching nearby and managed to remove half of the tab from Iris' mouth before she could swallow it.

Quoting a "source" close to the family, London's Sun reported that Frost "saw Iris with something in her mouth, and a mother's instinct made her check it out."

Frost immediately called paramedics, who rushed the tot to a nearby hospital. London papers reported that Iris was monitored overnight by doctors and released Sunday. (Ecstasy has been known to cause brain damage and kidney failure.)

"I am relieved to say that on behalf of Jude Law and Sadie Frost, their daughter Iris has been given the all clear," the couple's publicist, Simon Halls, says in a statement.

However, Hall disputed certain London tabloid accounts of the incident. "Following Saturday's unfortunate events, I would like to clarify the following points," he says. "Iris Law received the appropriate medical attention required; she did not, however, have her stomach pumped, nor undergo a brain scan, which had been previously reported.

"The matter is now in the hands of the police, and Jude and Sadie feel like the luckiest parents alive."

Investigators say that neither Frost nor Law (who was out of the country on a film shoot) were to blame for the incident. The pill was apparently discarded by revelers the night before. Scotland Yard is reportedly looking into the illegal distribution of drugs at the club.

Iris is the middle child in the Law brood. The couple's five-year-old son, Rafferty, was on location with pop in Romania, where the actor is filming the Civil War drama Cold Mountain, opposite Nicole Kidman and Renée Zellweger.

Just last month, the couple welcomed their second son, Rudy. Law also serves as stepdad to 11-year-old Finley, Frost's son from a previous marriage.
