Just when you think that the mini-turban trend has faded, new celeb sightings show that headscarves are still going strong in Hollywood. Stars are stepping out with the silky headwear for both casual and red carpet events.

Eva Mendes is a leader in the headscarf crusade, donning scarves in bright prints or muted colors. She often ties them in a face-framing knot at the top of her head—showcasing a topknot or ponytail hairstyle.

Kourtney Kardashian not only loves to wear headscarves (in a similar knot style as Mendes) but her 1-year-old sweetie Penelope does too. The E! star has been seen out and about in Los Angeles toting her daughter with a long silk scarf covering the little one's head (which is infinitely adorable and protective against the rays of the sun).

Kourtney's sister Khloé Kardashian Odom has also gotten in on the act as well, wearing a skull-printed Alexander McQueen scarf tied turban-style.

And the trend isn't just for girls: John Mayer was spotted performing in a chambray blazer and bone-printed headscarf. Jaden Smith rocked a classic black-and-white style, wrapping the bandana around his forehead like a sweatband.

Other celebs who rock this trend include Alessandra Ambrosio (who wore a candy-colored scarf to Coachella), and Vanessa Hudgens who kept bohemian cool at the Indio festival with a purple scarf fastened over her head kerchief style.

Never one to shy from offbeat trends, Rihanna was spotted in New York City with a multicolored scarf covering her bronze locks, looking retro and rocker-cool at the same time in a high-slit dress and cap-toed, ankle-strap flats.

Katy Perry wore a headscarf look straight from the runway, wearing a head-to-toe Dolce & Gabbana ensemble to a press conferences for The Smurfs in Cancun, Mexico. Fellow actress and singer Hilary Duff wore her yellow, skull-printed headscarf hippie style, letting the material hang loose in her locks.
