Kerry Washington's back!

After taking a short break from the social media world, the Scandal actress made her official return to Twitter and Facebook today.

"Twitter hiatus was important and good... but I love being back on here with you guys. #BestFansEver XOXOXOXOXO," she tweeted.

And you may remember that during her absence, Washington celebrated a significant event—aka she surprised the world by secretly getting married to a man that no one even knew she was dating (kudos, Kerry).

So now that the actress has resumed to updating her fans on her daily life—most of them in 140 characters or less—that means she's dished the deets on her big day, right?!

Nope, not in the slightest.

"So... I just wanna say: its great being back & I LOVE reading all your tweets but...FYI I still dont talk about my personal life on here," the celeb wrote, and then to soften the disappointment added, "I seriously ❤ you guyz!"

E! News confirmed earlier this month that the star has not only been dating San Francisco 49ers cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha for a year, but that the duo married in a super secret ceremony on June 24 in Hailey, Idaho!

We exclusively obtained the newlyweds' marriage certificate, which revealed that Washington's parents, Earl and Valerie, signed as witnesses, and the groom's sister, Chisaraokwu Asomugha—a minister in Silver Spring, Md.—officiated the ceremony.

To make this love story even more interesting, sources told the New York Daily News that the Scandal star first met the NFL star back in 2010 when he and a mutual friend went to see Washington on Broadway in Race. Only at the time, Kerry reportedly told her future hubby she didn't date athletes, and he told her he didn't date actresses.

Funny how things end up working out.
