Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian have been together for years and had two kids, but they have been vocal about putting off marriage.
But as of today, their relationship status is about to...actually stay pretty much the same.
"Finally did it," Scott wrote on his Instagram account with a pic of Kourtney's hand wearing a rather large and colorful ring. But the photo wasn't of a sparkling diamond ring; it was a ring made out of balloons!
Some fans were in on the joke: "He went to Jared!!" wrote one in the comments, while another joked, "Hopefully when you actually do get engaged the stone is that big!!"
The flashy piece of faux jewelry was really part of a balloon party that Kourtney had over the weekend, so all of the Scott & Kourt fans out there will still have to wait for an actual engagment.
"I think if it's not broke, don't fix it," Scott told Ryan Seacrest in the Ryan Seacrest with the Kardashians: An E! New Presentation special back in April. "I feel like I used to want to get married more than she did. And then being that she was always so not interested, I've decided not to be."
Scott and Kourtney have hinted that marriage might be in the future, but for now they're just focusing on being parents to Mason and Penelope Disick. Nobody knows when it might happen, but we're pretty sure that there won't be a balloon ring involved.
Meanwhile, on this Sunday's episode, the couple has other problems to deal with: Kourtney goes to Greece on a family vacation, but Scott stays behind in London for a few days. With the couple's shaky family vacation track record, will they finally have a drama-free trip?
