Just a day after his wife, Camilla, confessed that the royal family expects Kate Middleton to give birth "by the end of the week," Prince Charles is also speaking out about his future grandchild.

And while the world is awaiting the arrival of the soon-to-be Prince or Princess of Cambridge, it appears that family members are also eager.

During a visit to the seaside town of Bude, Cornwall, the Duke of Cornwall answered a few questions about the highly anticipated newborn.

A woman carrying a three-week-old baby greeted him and said, "You have got one of these coming soon," to which he replied, "Hopefully."

Charles and Camilla are currently on their annual summer tour of the southwest English county but will no doubt halt their plans once they receive the good news that Middleton has gone into labor.

In a stop at Little Harbour children's hospice, located near St. Austell, Cornwall, the Duchess of Cornwall reportedly told well-wishes that she and her husband are just as anxious as everyone.

"We are all just waiting by the telephone," she said in an impromptu speech. "We are hopeful that by the end of the week he or she will be here."

But it looks like Middleton's mom, Carole, has her own idea of when the newest royal will arrive. She reportedly expects that her grandchild's due date is on July 22.

And of course members of the soon-to-be parents' family aren't the only ones placing their bets on when the baby will arrive!

Online betting site William Hill seems to back Camilla's guess, giving odds of 3 to 1 that the baby will be born today, 3 to 1 tomorrow, 6 to 1 Thursday, 9 to 1 Friday and 10 to 1 for Saturday.

On July 22, Carole's reported hypothesis, the site gives 16 to 1 odds of the royal baby being born. After that, the odds diminish for the remainder of July. The site also predicts 20 to 1 odds that the baby will be born anytime in August.
