Redbook recently sat down with star to get the scoop on her best beauty secrets, and she impressed us with her easy approach to hair and makeup.
As for her glossy brunette locks, the star says she's learned a lot from the hair pros she's worked with on set. "They taught me that letting my hair dry naturally—which is what I do every single day—is good for it…but it's not always going to look good. Pulling out the blow-dryer and the curling iron really does make a difference. But to be perfectly honest, I don't know even know where the hair dryer is in my house."
Talk about low-maintenance!
Jennifer has long impressed us with her friendly demeanor, and now more than ever, we have to say we're genuinely amazed at her down-to-earth attitude to getting glam.
"The red carpet is really fun. It's show business, and we're putting on a show. A lot of people are involved in the styling and my voice is one of the smaller ones in the mix. You should hear the conversations [in a dramatic voice] ‘I think it's a smoky eye and a simple lip…' I make fun of everyone for being so invested."
Ha!
So what's one thing she does take seriously? Her skin care.
The star knows the importance of protecting herself from harmful UV rays, and doesn't skimp on sunscreen—which probably explains why she looks so radiant and youthful.
"Putting on SPF should be like brushing your teeth," she insists.
