David Beckham wants Prince William and Kate Middleton to bend it like, well, Beckham.

The retired soccer star, who with wife Victoria Beckham attended the royals' wedding in 2011, has some friendly advice for the couple on what to name the royal baby.

And, well, Beckham didn't look too far before coming up with a handy suggestion.

"David's pretty good...if it's a boy of course," he reportedly told Britain's Sky News, per published reports.

The 38-year-old Beckham—himself a strapping father of four—also gave props to the royal couple as they begin their journey into parenthood.

"They're going to be amazing parents because they are so loving towards children," he said, adding: "We've seen William grow from that young boy into an unbelievable gentleman. And that, as a father, is really important."

Kate is due any day now, and Prince William has already cleared his schedule to make sure he's able to attend to his wife's needs: A source confirms to E! News that William is not expected back at work with the RAF in Anglesey for a few days.

That said, William wasn't merely on royal baby watch this past weekend: On Saturday, the Duke of Cambridge found time to participate in the Kent & Curwen Royal Polo Cup with Prince Harry in Sydmonton, England.

And the next day, he once again strapped on his riding boots, this time for a charity polo match—the Jerudong Trophy—at Cirencester Park Polo Club in Gloucestershire.

Meanwhile, Kate has reportedly relocated from Nottingham College in London to her parents' home in Bucklebury, Berkshire, in order to spend some time with her family before the royal baby's arrival.

When she does go into labor, she'll be whisked to St. Mary's Hospital in London, which is about 53 miles away. There, the hospital staff has been beefing up its security measures, conducting regular security sweeps of the premises and setting up several checkpoints for visitors.
