Cory Monteith may have had fame and fortune, but the one thing the Glee star craved was a life free of drugs.
"He was super committed to getting sober," a source tells me. "He would say this was his last chance."
Monteith entered rehab in late March.
"Cory Monteith has voluntarily admitted himself into a treatment facility for substance addiction," his rep said at the time.
"He graciously asks for your respect and privacy as he takes the necessary steps towards recovery."
A source says the actor spent time at Betty Ford in California and at the Crossroads Centre, a drug and alcohol addiction rehab on Antigua that was cofounded by musician Eric Clapton.
