Mama is out and about.

Busy Philipps managed to peel herself away from her busy new-mommy duties as she was spotted Wednesday in Hollywood a week after giving birth to her second child, daughter Cricket Pearl.

And from the looks of it, you'd never guess that the Cougar Town actress was back on late-night baby watch: The 34-year-old was, as always, sleek and composed in a striped dress with a red woven belt and comfy flip-flops as she headed to an elementary school in Hollywood.

Philipps and her hubby, Marc Silverstein, welcomed Cricket on July 2, and the proud new parents heralded their little one's arrival with understated flair.

"So this happened..." the actress tweeted shortly after the baby's birth, attaching a photo of herself snuggling up to the wee one.

Cricket joins the couple's other daughter, 4-year-old Birdie Leigh.

A few days later, Philipps hopped back on Twitter to give a shout-out to their many well-wishers.

"Thank you all for the warm wishes for our new little ladybug! It's been so sweet to read them all!!" she wrote.

That "ladybug" dub was apparently an early tease: A day later, E! News exclusively revealed that the proud new parents decided to name their precious tot Cricket.

The unique moniker quickly set tongues aflutter, and Philipps later addressed all the chatter on Twitter.

"It's weird people think my kids will be in therapy because of their names," she tweeted. "Guys, my kids will be therapy for LOTS of reasons, I'm sure." Huzzah!

Back in March, Philipps opened up to E! News about the impending arrival of baby No. 2, saying that her second pregnancy wasn't "so relaxing" and that it was both "harder and easier" than her first.

There were no mixed feelings, though, when it came to big-sis-to-be Birdie's reaction.

"My daughter is super-excited," Philipps gushed to The Huffington Post about the arrival of the newest member of the family. "She's actually incredibly helpful."
