We're days away from Princess Kate Middleton's due date, and London is getting extra prepared for the once-in-a-lifetime event!

On Wednesday's Live From E!, Arlene Santana and a newly engaged Marc Malkin joined Melanie Bromley for the latest on the official Royal Baby Countdown.

Stationed outside Buckingham Palace in London, Melanie told us police presence has increased as well as interest from media all around the world. In addition, barriers are already going up outside the hospital for fans willing to camp outside in honor of the special birth. Yeah, we're impressed too.

Even though sources tell E! News the due date is Sunday, Prince William is scheduled to appear at an area polo match this weekend.

Also on today's show, the panel discussed the big changes headed to ABC's long running daytime talk show, The View. After rumors started earlier this week that Jenny McCarthy would be joining the panel, current cohost Elisabeth Hasselbeck delivered a tearful goodbye at the table she's called home for several years.

As the outspoken Republican heads to Fox News this September, Barbara Walters told viewers the show is in no rush to find a replacement for Hasselbeck. Who do you think should join the table?

Finally, the panel tried to make sense of Selena Gomez's newest single, "Love Will Remember."

The song begins with voicemail recording from Justin Bieber who confesses his love to the "Come and Get It" singer. "Hey babe, it's me," the recording begins. "I just want to call and tell you that I love you so, so, so, so much. I just wanted to let you know that you are my princess. You are worthy of all the love in the world. You are the love of my life."

Even though sources recently told E! News the two young stars are just friends, we can't help but wonder what the new song really means.
