6 Reasons Why the Kardashians Are an All-American Family

Happy 4th of July! Here's why the Kardashians are just your average American family

With their level of fame, it's easy to forget that the Kardashians are really just another American family. Don't believe us? Here are six reasons why the Kardashians are as American as apple pie:

1. They Know How to Celebrate

Especially Bruce Jenner, apparently. A two-beer night? Go on, with your bad self, Bruce!

Of course, we've also seen the Kardashians have fun holidays together and celebrate the 4th of July and Labor Day just like any American family. Scott Disick's "lord party" is the exception...that one was pretty British.

2. They Do Totally Normal Stuff Together

Totally normal stuff.

Okay, that's a bad example...but the family did just go paintballing the other week on Keeping Up with the Kardashians. And, as we'll see on this week's episode, they're not above pulling a prank or two on each other!

3. Bruce Has a Gold Medal

Hey, remember that time when Bruce Jenner represented the US of A in the Olympics and won a gold medal? That's pretty much as American as it gets!

4. They're a Bit of a Melting Pot

Besides the fact that Kourtney Kardashian is clearly fluent in Spanish, the family is a bit of a good ol' melting pot. They live the American lifestyle but hang on to their Armenian roots, much like the many other multicultural families in this country, or really much like America itself.

5. They Love Shopping

Let's face it: Americans love to shop. We're a country of consumers. The Kardashians are no different, especially when it comes to decorating the house or buying clothes. But don't go thinking that the ladies are the only ones spending money; we know that Bruce loves buying those helicopters!

6. They Support Each Other

Any all-American family is a supportive unit, making sure that they have their relatives' backs. The Kardashians are no different, as time and time again we've seen them overcome difficulties by sticking together.

That includes Scott, who was totally kidding here, by the way.

Happy 4th of July, dolls!

Tune in this Sunday at 9/8c for another all-new episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians on E!
