Blake Lively's Gucci Mini is Fit For Vegas, Not Shanghai

The Savages star steps out in a dress that feels like it should be paired with a cocktail tray...

When you look like Blake Lively, you don't necessarily have to follow the standard fashion rules.

That said, this Gucci frock feels a little flashy for the Shanghai set. That might be because of the sparkle on the deep gold fabric, or it might be because the former Gossip Girl's ta-tas are spilling out of the neckline. Either way, this cocktail dress does not have an A-list feel. 

So since we've already decided that this look is a tad trashy, we may as well focus on the design.

There's something really fun about this geometric puplum skirt. It falls nicely about the micro mini underneath and adds a bit of drama to the otherwise streamlined style. Same goes for the statement necklace. The chunky style definitely attempts to transform this look from clubbing to couture.

Unfortunately, we're not so sure it succeeds...
