Sean Lowe and fiancée Catherine Giudici are putting their wedding plans on hold.

But that doesn't mean the adorable couple is on the rocks.

While the pair is still planning to say their I-dos, a source tells E! News the wedding will not happen this summer—and may not even happen this year.

"I would say it's more likely to happen in 2014, not 2013," the source tells E! News.

The former Bachelor star—who proposed in Thailand on the season finale of the hit ABC show—and his gorgeous gal had previously announced their plans to tie the knot this summer and film the nuptials for a TV special.

"I think once we set a date, it'll probably be aired on ABC," Lowe previously told E! News, while adding the twosome started discussing plans after he was ousted on Dancing With the Stars.

After getting engaged, Sean initially said he and Catherine saw no reason to wait for their walk down the aisle, but our insider says both parties have since changed their tune.

"Straight after the Bachelor, Sean went into Dancing with the Stars and straight after that they both had a lot of work commitments," the source explains. "There was no time to make wedding plans. Now that they've both freed up a little, they just want to enjoy each other this summer. They've got a few mini-vacations in the works."

Sounds like the TV lovebirds are still going strong! And the source insists there's no trouble in paradise:

"They're doing it the right way," the source adds. "Neither feels the need to rush. They want the wedding of their dreams—and planning it will take some time."

NEWS: Five things to know about Catherine Giudici

Sean and Catherine got engaged in March after Lowe gave his final rose to the stunning Seattle native.

After the show, Giudici confessed she was originally very "skeptical" of falling in love on television, but she "obviously shattered those [fears] pretty quickly and found the man" of her dreams.

The couple has also publicly announced their decision to wait until they're husband and wife before becoming intimate with one another.

"From my perspective, I've lived life kind of selfishly for a long time," said Sean, who is a conservative Christian and born-again virgin. "Now, I'm going to try to live it the way I know to be right."
