Kanye West Attends First Industry Event Since Baby North West's Birth

Rapper was spotted at Jamie Foxx's BET Awards after party

Kanye West has a fatherly glow, don't you think?

The new dad made his first industry appearance last night since the birth of his baby girl North West on June 15, when the rapper attended Jamie Foxx's BET Awards after party last night at the actor's home in Thousand Oaks, Calif.

Yeezy, who looked a little sleepy (hey, Channing Tatum said taking care of a newborn was tiring), was dressed in his usual black attire.

A source tells E! News that Kanye was seen entering with a couple of guys and headed straight to the VIP area where he was hanging out with Foxx, T.I. and Young Jeezy.

He was seen talking with the White House Down star, who congratulated Kanye on his daughter.

West made his first public appearance since Nori's arrival last week, when he was spotted out catching a movie with Kris Jenner in Calabasas, Calif.

The proud papa has been quiet about his first few weeks of parenthood, but shared his Father's Day gift from Kim Kardashian earlier today on Twitter.

"one of the other gifts my girl gave me for fathers day," Yeezy tweeted with a photo of two vintage Apple computer mice autographed by Steve Jobs and "Woz" (aka Steve Wozniak, the company's cofounder).

Interestingly enough, Wozniak is one of the few people who actually met with Kim, Kanye and the baby shortly after North's birth.

"I have seen a lot of babies, and a baby represents the love between the people and that meant more to me and the love that Kim was showing to Kanye," the tech guru said in an interview with CNN's Piers Morgan Live. "Just because he was interested in technology and companies, she, as a birthday present, she had me up come there to meet him." (Kanye turned 36 on June 8, just eight days before he became a dad.)

Meanwhile, Kim has yet to make an appearance since becoming a mommy, but recently broke her silence on Twitter for her sister Khloé Kardashian Odom's birthday.

"Then- @khloekardashian The birthday girl! I love you so much!!!!" she wrote with collages of the Kardashian girls when they were kids. "Now- @khloekardashian The most loyal & supportive person on the planet! IIfe wouldn't be the same without you Kokes!"
