The singer gave birth to a second child with ex-football player fiancé Eric Johnson, son Ace Knute Johnson, on Sunday, June 30 (big sis is their adorable 1-year-old daughter, Maxwell). The bouncing baby boy was born at Ceders-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles via a scheduled C-section.
In honor of the birth, we've compiled some of Jessica's best pregnancy looks. The hot mama prefers loose maxis or shorter belly-hugging dresses—in jersey stretch materials, of course. Simpson also doesn't shy from heels, wearing colorful platforms throughout both pregnancies.
The soon-to-be Mrs. Johnson didn't let a large baby bump keep her in the house: the star recently attended good friend and interior designer Kathryn Sykora's wedding, wearing a ruched black maxi dress and turquoise accessories two weeks before Ace's birth. She also threw BFF CaCee Cobb's baby shower earlier in June, only a month and a half after her own Tom Sawyer-themed shower on April 14.
Some of our favorite looks include a pastel tie-dyed maxi with embellished neckline, straw tote and sandals; a simple wine-red maxi dress (from her own maternity line) with a black blazer and loose locks; a chic green dress paired with orange platforms; a lacy black number with suede peep-toe heels and a form-fitting leopard-print frock with satin pumps.
And although Simpson will likely be relaxing with her expanded brood over the next few weeks, we know she'll get her bangin' post-baby body back in no time. The Weight Watchers spokesperson signed a deal with the company shortly after giving birth to Maxwell (and a short six months before announcing she was pregnant with baby Ace!).
