When it comes to promoting his upcoming action flick, White House Down, Channing Tatum is certainly putting his Step Up skills to good use.

During an appearance on Univision's Despierta America on Monday, the 33-year-old actor and his costar, Jamie Foxx, were given an impromptu salsa lesson.

Not surprisingly, both guys prove they have what it takes to heat up a dance floor. Or, in this case, a TV studio.

Then, on Tuesday, Tatum, er, danced his way over to Good Morning America, where the new dad happily talked about fatherhood.

He and wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum welcomed daughter Everly on June 2.

"I've never been so excited when something poos," Tatum said with a smile. "I just get so amped up because I'm in the game now. The mom does so much of the early work those first few weeks, and I'm just like, 'Put me in the game. Put me in the game.' I've gotten so good at like changing diapers, swaddling and then get it back before she cries."

Meanwhile, White House Down hits theaters on Friday.
