Liv Tyler, Milo, Mario Batali

If Liv Tyler was hungry for a laugh, well, she certainly got one.

While hanging out with her son, Milo, in New York City's West Village on Tuesday, the 35-year-old actress bumped into celebrity chef and The Chew host Mario Batali.

Of course, they didn't literally bump into one another, which is a good thing seeing how Batali was on a Vespa and all.

After chatting it up for a bit and sharing a few giggles, the two embraced before parting ways.

Tyler, meanwhile, will soon be starring opposite Justin Theroux in the upcoming HBO drama pilot The Leftovers, Deadline reports.

And that's no joke.
