Is Chris Brown attempting to make a foray into the world of politics?

The singer took to Twitter to make his stance on one of the nation's most controversial topics: universal healthcare.

"Not to get all political, but I think we as Americans should get #FREEHEALTHCARE #butthatsjustme," he said.

But Brown swiftly stepped off his soapbox and proceeded to tweet about his latest single featuring a collaboration with the late singer Aaliyah.

The "Don't Think They Know" music video was released yesterday and has a posthumous appearance by the R&B singer.

The final frame in the video is a written message that reads, "Dear Aaliyah, We love and miss you, thank you for inspiring all of us."
