Kate Middleton stayed close to home on Father's Day. Her first home, that is!

The pregnant royal, who will mark her first Mother's Day next year, spent Sunday with her father, Michael Middleton, in the West Berkshire village of Bucklebury, where the Duchess of Cambridge grew up and her parents still live.

They were spotted together, along with Kate's security detail, at a petrol station filling up their car.

"I was getting petrol too and she offered to let me go first," an eyewitness (who in turn insisted that Kate's security guard go first) exclusively told E! News. "She was really sweet...She was lovely, I guess she was visiting her family."

The source says that Kate was wearing a big coat and stood outside the car while one of her guards filled it up.

She and her dad reportedly had lunch at a local restaurant. There's no word yet if they were joined by Kate's mum, Carole, or siblings James and Pippa.

Prince William, meanwhile, spent the day on a horse with brother Prince Harry at the Tianjin Goldin Metropolitan Polo Club Charity Cup.
