Kanye West: A Look Back at the New Dad's Busy Week Leading Up to Fatherhood

Rapper kept himself pretty occupied promoting his new album, Yeezus, in the days prior to Kim Kardashian delivering the couple's daughter

Kanye West certainly had quite the weekend.

After all, he did become a daddy on Saturday—just in time for Father's Day.

But before the rapper welcomed his little bundle of joy with Kim Kardashian, the guy had a pretty busy week leading up the blessed event.

Of course, he can now add diaper duty to what has already been a very hectic schedule...

June 9, 2013: Kanye debuts a few songs from his upcoming Yeezus album (due out June 18) at the Governors Ball on New York's Randall's Island. According to Complex, the new dad performed three tracks, including one called "On Site."

June 10, 2013: Kanye hosts an exclusive star-studded Yeezus listening party at Milk Studios in New York City. Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Busta Rhymes and Q-Tip are reportedly among the attendees.

June 11, 2013: The New York Times publishes an interview with Kanye in which the outspoken rapper compares himself to Michael Jordan and Steve Jobs as well as insisting he has no regrets about famously interrupting Taylor Swift at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards.

June 12, 2013: Kanye posts a 31-second clip that has him in the studio recording "I Am God," which is expected to be on the Yeezus album.

June 13, 2013: Yeezus is reportedly leaked online, with early listeners giving what's online mixed reviews.

June 14, 2013: Another listening party is held for Yeezus, this time in Hollywood. While Kanye does not attend the event, Justin Bieber is on hand, as well as Tyler, the Creator, Lil Twist and Kourtney Kardashian's man, Scott Disick.

June 15, 2013: Kanye is by Kim's side during the delivery of their baby girl at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.
