Alia Shawkat, Arrested Development

What's your favorite Bluth backstory?

That is the question after Arrested Development's highly-anticipated fourth season finally came to Netflix, giving fans the opportunity to binge-watch the Bluth family's shenanigans all at once. In the new episodes, we learn how the Bluth family members came to arrive at Cinco de Quatro as each character gets their own backstory and we see the same incidents through their eyes.

Of course, everyone has their favorite "chapter" (we're partial to Gob's!), including the Arrested Development cast! We chatted with stars Alia Shawkat and Mae Whitman on the red carpet of the opening night of the ATX Television Festival in Austin, Texas, where they revealed their favorite episodes and moments from season four!

"I think the Tobias (David Cross) chapter is really great, so is the Gob (Will Arnett) chapter," says Shawkat, who watched all of season four in one sitting. "But Buster's (Tony Hale) is really amazing, too."

And while Whitman has yet to finish the new episodes, explaining that she wants to make the experience last longer, she does have a favorite moment. "The thing that made me laugh the most was seeing Maeby as the shaman," she says. "Spoiler Alert, but that is one of the funniest things I've ever seen. I was weeping with laughter."

Admitting she's "a total fan of the show," Whitman is quick to gush over the series' return, telling us, "The fact that we get more is the ultimate dream. I can't believe that we are all so lucky.  We were talking before about how it's so cool that I even forget that I'm a part of it, and I‘m like, ‘Oh s--t, that's me standing there! That's awesome.' I feel so happy that there's more in general."
