Emma Watson Watched "Lots" of Keeping Up With the Kardashians for Bling Ring Role

Actress studied Kim, Khloé and Kourtney, as well as Pretty Wild, to prep for flick

Think Emma Watson's accent in the Bling Ring sounds familiar?

That's because the Harry Potter star's voice in the new flick was semi-inspired by Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian and Khloé Kardashian Odom!

"I thought she did an incredible job transforming herself and she really took it seriously studying her accent," Bling Ring director Sofia Coppola told us of Watson's valley-girl persona in the flick at last night's Women in Film Crystal + Lucy Awards.

"I think she watched a lot of Kardashians to get a Calabasas accent," Coppola said of Watson, who of course plays a character based on former E! star Alexis Neiers. "And she watched Pretty Wild and she immersed herself into all of that."

But Watson wasn't just any Keeping Up With the Kardashians viewer. "She's a really good student, so she took it seriously and made it her homework," Coppola said.

"I think she did an incredible job with the accent, it's really specific," Coppola continued. "She's such a Californian, it's very Calabasas. She did a really good job."
