Pretty Little Liars

ABC Family

Welcome back to Rosewood! Enjoy this basket of muffins, won't you?!

ABC Family's hit series Pretty Little Liars returned for its highly anticipated fourth season on Tuesday night and fans were left with their jaws on the floor when one of our beloved characters ended up behind bars by episode's end!

But let's go back, back to the beginning, which gave out answers to fans' burning questions like candy on Halloween!

And the Trunk Contains...: A pig?! Yes, after months of anticipation, the girls found a bloody pig in the back of the car. (Color us slightly disappointed, though Wilden's [Bryce Johnson] dead body was discovered the next day. Still, the opening scenes had Mona (Janel Parrish) giving the girls answers to many questions: Lucas (Brendan Robinson) gave Emily (Shay Mitchell) that infamous massage; Mona put Wilden's car in Hanna's (Ashley Benson) garage, but didn't pull it out of the lake; Toby (Keegan Allen) was recruited onto the "A" Team by Mona; and Wilden and Melissa (Torrey DeVitto) were both the Queen of Hearts. Phew.

He's Too Pretty for Jail: Thankfully, the show agrees as Fitz (Ian Harding) being arrested for hooking up with an underage Aria (Lucy Hale) turned out to be a figment of a paranoid Aria's imagination. Still, the fan-favorite couple did not get back together and it looks like they'll be bunking in Splitsville for quite some time to come.

A New Villain: At Wilden's funeral, the girls discover Ashley's (Laura Leighton) cell in the casket. Could "A" be setting Hanna's mom up to take the blame for his murder? Oh, and from a pew way in the back, a mysterious lady (in black!) watched the if dealing with "A" and Red Coat wasn't enough for our beloved Liars!

What did you think of the season four premiere? Sound off in the comments!
