So you thought Pretty Little Liars was twisted? Well, you better buckle up for ABC Family's Twisted!

The network's new guilty pleasure finally premieres tonight, and introduces viewers to Danny (Avan Jogia), a 16-year-old who has just spent five years in juvie for killing his aunt and becomes the lead suspect when a girl in town is murdered. You know, light-hearted fare!

We chatted with stars Denise Richards, who plays Danny's mother, Avan Jogia, Maddie Hasson and Kylie Bunbury about their addictive new drama, which Richards describes as "very edgy and sexy"...and TV's most twisted up love triangle!

After getting out of juvie, Danny "tries to reconnect with his two best friends" Jo (Hasson) and Lacey (Bunbury), but the whole "becoming a suspect in the murder of a local girl" thing gets in the way of that. At least with one of the ladies! Bunbury describes Lacey as "the most popualr girl in school and very apprehensive in rekindling the friendshp for obvious reasons," but stresses that "she's not your stereotypical mean girl."

Jo, on the other hand, "is not the most popular girl in school," Hasson explains. "Because of this tragedy, she's drawn within herself...she keeps to herself and when Danny comes back she's more receptive because she's been so lonely."

As for the other lady in Danny's life, his mother Karen (Richards)? Their relationship is "a little strained," Richards says, explaining, "They were the family that everyone looked up to and she was a socialite and things drastically changed. Now her and her son are trying to find their way in this small town where a lot of people gossip and make judgments."

Twisted premieres tonight at 9 p.m. on ABC Family.
