The fashion industry has lost one of its brightest angels.

Celebrity stylist Annabel Tollman, who had dressed Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Scarlett Johansson and Liv Tyler, died unexpectedly Friday in her West Village home in New York City. She was 36.

Per The Cut, Tollman passed away in her sleep from a blood clot.

The 36-year-old glamour girl and beloved fashion maven made a name for herself as both an editor (she worked at Interview magazine) and a respected stylist.

The Brussels-born blond beauty was raised in London and New York and studied at Central Saint Martins before bursting onto the style scene.

Numerous friends from the fashion world, including L'Wren Scott and Hilary Rhoda, swiftly paid tribute to the influential stylist, who in 2011 was named one of The Hollywood Reporter's most powerful stylists and was also a spokeswoman for eBay Fashion.

"So sad to hear about Annabel Tollman. Such a beautiful, witty, soul with that wonderful infectious personality," Rhoda tweeted Friday morning.

Johansson tells E!, "Annabel was the epitome of class and elegance, the English Rose personified. She celebrated the female figure and taught me how to dress the part of an independent, self-possessed  and confident young lady, as she represented all of those qualities. I will miss her friendship deeply; she touched all of those that knew her with a warmth, intelligence, thoughtfulness, beauty and grace."
