So imaginge our surprise when we saw three A-listers sporting plum pouts this week. Beyoncé, Rihanna and Emma Watson all painted their puckers in rich mulberry tints.
The "Bow Down" singer's wine hue went with her edgy, all black ensemble in NYC while Rihanna's color perfectly matched her purple jumpsuit which she wore for a night out in Paris. The Bling Ring star had the most subtle shade of all three, opting for a light berry tint at the This Is The End premiere in L.A.
While there's no set beauty standard when it comes to seasonal shades, these three stars took a dramatic departure from the reds, pinks and oranges trending right now.
