Kristin Cavallari is proving that timing really is everything.

"I feel like with Jay and I, now we're really ready to get married," she said in an exclusive interview with E! News, referring to her fiancé, Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler. "Two years ago, we weren't ready. If we would have gotten married I don't think it would have worked out. But I feel like now we're in such a good place and it's the perfect time to do it."

Amen to that! And now the older and wiser Cavallari is nothing but excited to tie the knot.

Well, she is a little bit nervous...

"I'm only nervous to walk down the aisle, because everyone's staring at you!" the former reality-TV star revealed at her bridal shower, which took place Sunday at the London Hotel West Hollywood, with cocktails provided by Cîroc. "So I know I'll be nervous for that—but once that's over it's just going to be a breeze and I know I'm going to love every second of it and I'm more excited than anything.

"I just can't believe it's almost here. It's amazing."

Asked what role their son, Camden, who's currently almost 10 months old, will play during the ceremony, Cavallari played coy (though she did admit that "it just depends on if he'll be walking by then").

So, with family life going so great, does that mean Cavallari is going to start making good on her previously stated desire to have four children?

"We're thinking about it!" she said regarding the prospect of baby No. 2. "Sooner than later—and I've said 'sooner than later' since I had Cam, but I really do mean that. It'll probably be fairly soon."

Watch the clip to find out how Kristin and Jay make it work—and what's going to make the bride cry at her own wedding!
