British style icon takes to Instagram to reveal new ad and newly red hair

Talk about red hot!

Alexa Chung gave us our first look at her debut ad as the new face of L'Oréal Professionnel INOA colour and—quite fittingly—she's rocking a ravishing new red 'do in the pic.

"Sneak peek @lorealprofuk shoot today," the Brit babe wrote, along with an Instagrammed pic from the set.

True to her effortlessly cool signature style, Chung shows off her hot new hue in a boho-beautiful milkmaid's braid with a few face-framing strands. Posing with one hand on her hip in a simple-chic pale blue dress, she reminds us of the laid back yet lovely style that has helped propel her to  fashion icon status. 

We're guessing L'Oréal wanted said trademark style to shine through, seeing as Chung's fashion sense has helped her win a whopping three British Style Awards.

And the beauty brand probably wasn't too bothered by the fact that she revealed a sneak peak at her campaign via social networking, since a single tweet from the TV host back in December caused the waiting list for a nail polish to climb to 870.
