Honey Boo Boo's Family Dog Dies, Dad Sugar Bear Released From Hospital

Hit TV show family has hit a few bumps over the last couple of days

Here Comes Honey Boo Boo's Thompson family has been through some ups and downs this past year, and this last week was nothing short of an emotional rollercoaster.

The troubles began last Friday night when Mike "Sugar Bear" Thompson was rushed to the emergency room after collapsing.

According to the official Honey Boo Boo Facebook fan page, Sugie underwent "a lot of tests on his brain."

Good news came today, however, when Alana Thompson tweeted, "Sugar Bear is home & doing ok we are glad he's out the hospital & to have a diagnosis thanks for all the prayers & concerns!"

But the drama didn't end the for the reality TV family.

On May 27, Alana announced the tragic news that the family dog China had been hit by a car.

"Some1 2day hit& killed our dog China& left her to die #sadday #ripchina #willbtrulymissed."
