Ashley Madekwe Sounds Off on Revenge Exit: "I Want Ashley to Die in a Blaze of Glory!"

"I've LOVED playing Ashley Davenport but after 2 seasons there is no longer a story left for me to tell…" the British actress explained of her departure from the ABC series

Revenge's PR maven is issuing a statement of her own!

"Yes it's true I'm leaving Revenge," Ashley Madekwe tweeted on Friday, confirming her departure from the ABC sudser. "I've LOVED playing Ashley Davenport but after 2 seasons there is no longer a story left for me to tell…"

The British actress went on to reveal how she'd like to see her character go out in season three. Hint: It's super bloody!

"My preference is that Ashley Davenport dies in a blaze of glory," Madekwe tweeted of her stylish schemer of a character. "Preferable whilst wearing Valentino couture....Or Chanel. I'm not fussy."

Madekwe also assured fans that there will be closure for Ashley in season three. "The Revenge writers are trying to come up with an exit story for Davenport and I will of course play that out for you all." 

Finally, the star proved there are no hard feelings over her departure, saying, "So much love on here this morning. You guys are killing me! #Revenge is awesome and will hopefully continue for many years to come. xoxo"
