Unfortunately for Big Boi, the way he moved landed him on crutches.

The former Outkast member has been forced to reschedule a slew of tour dates after blowing out his knee during a May 26 concert.

"Injured my leg on stage yesterday, headed to the A for some test," Big Boi tweeted last Monday.

The rapper, real name Andre Patton, subsequently underwent a knee operation that will keep him sidelined for some time.

"God Bless Atlanta Sports medicine for a successful Knee Surgery fixed my torn Patella," Big Boi later wrote, then added, "Stank You All For Your well Wishes and Prayers."

Consequently, per Billboard, the hip-hopster's now ironically titled Shoes for Running Tour—which was to have included stops across the South and up the East Coast in June—is now being postponed to September, though his website has yet to be updated with that information.

Here's wishing Big Boi a speedy recovery!
