They say time heals all wounds and they may be right.

Courtney Love opened up to Howard Stern today about her previously-estranged relationship with her daughter Frances Bean.

"I'm really good with my daughter now, we're emailing and tweeting," she told the radio show host.

But Love took a different route than she usually does and tried to keep the cards close to her chest, adding, "I Don't want to get too into [Frances'] private stuff…she's really private."

Love also admitted that while she has yet to meet Bean's fiancé, Isaiah Silva, she has spoken to him online and already approves of her daughter's love.

The 48-year-old Hole frontwoman said that he seemed "really, really nice."

But what would an interview with Love be without a little shock value?

The rocker told Stern that Bean was in fact offered the lead role of Bella in the Twilight film franchise when she was only 13, but turned it down.

"Someone just saw a picture of her in a magazine and sent me the script for Twilight," she said.

But ultimately Love's pleased with her daughter turning down the opportunity because she claims it would have "destroyed her life."

Wonder what Kristen Stewart would have to say about that…
